On the road again. The Space Launch System (SLS) rocket and Orion spacecraft for the #Artemis I mission around the Moon and back arrived at Launch Pad 39B around 8:30 a.m. EDT on Nov. 4, 2022. The rocket traveled atop the mobile launcher and Crawler Transporter-2 during the approximately 4-mile (6-kilometer) journey from the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) to the launch pad at @NASAKennedy Space Center in Florida. The journey took nearly nine hours. Launch is currently targeted for Nov. 14 at the opening of a 69-minute launch window starting at 12:07 a.m. EST (0505 UTC). Image Descriptions: 1.
