Currently on view @cranbrookartmuseum • Ok, some thoughts: Over the span of this year, I can undoubtedly attest that I’ve experienced what true community looks and feels like. I’ve savored the subtle sweet taste of unencumbered love with warm undertones of mutual respect. I’ve danced freely in my own body for the first time. And I now know what it sounds like to be heard. It’s been a very long, busy, exhausting, complicated and emotionally complex year. But ultimately, a fulfilling one. And for that I am grateful. To those that showed up, thanks for showing up. To those that took the time to listen, thank you for listening. If I held space with/for you, thank you for allowing me the opportunity to show up for you. It’s been real, see ya next year.
