1 of 2 for a mini series I’ve been wanting to do for over a year now. While watching fantastic fungi in August of 2021 i had an idea to do a shoot based off this little time-lapse of some mushrooms with red lamellae & stipes growing. I really love the accordion-like texture that a mushroom’s lamellae has. Of this whimsical series, this first collection is the more light & airy side- whereas the second collection will be the darker & more rough side. i hope you all enjoy the images that were created 🍄 & a huge thank you to penelope for modeling for me - as soon as i first saw her i knew she would be perfect for this part of the series. she really beared through the heat & insects & did an incredible job of making this idea come to life (^: shot on 35mm ektachrome 100 & 120 porta 400
