It took me so long to see who I actually was and to embrace it, and once I did, everything I saw in the mirror and inside felt like all the reasons why I wouldn’t have love, or wouldn’t have a community. But when I first got to be in a space with my trans community, it was the moment I realized that being trans meant having the greatest community, feeling unconditional love and support.
