Took a disposable camera into the Boundary Waters last week with my dad, sibs and a father Lenny. First time back there in 20 or 21 or 22 years somehow. And somehow it felt like I was just there. Four days without apps or text messages, plans or news. Four days loading up packs and canoes and filtering water and finding firewood and a flat rock to lay down on and who’s got the bug spray and the salami knife?
