Cheerleading, I like to think of cheerleading as my first love. Something that i’ll never be able to fully let go of. It’s been the one thing I know I can count on for the past 14 years. Before taking the mat at state 2025 I was told one day you’ll take your uniform off and never put it back on. I cherished this last year of cheerleading with everything I had. Injury after injury I took it and continued pushing for not only myself but my team, coach’s, parents and loved ones. My senior year of cheerleading taught me a lot more about myself than I thought it would. It forced me to step up and become a person I’ve needed to be for a long time. Thank you to my WICKED KNIGHTS. You guys taught me that I am a good person and that no matter what I will always have people I can count on. Thank you guys for sticking with it through the blood sweat tears and fights. You will all forever hold a special place in my heart and I wouldn’t have wanted to end this chapter of my life with any other group of girls. Cheer has been my rock and the people i’ve cheered with have become family. As much as I physically need to say goodbye I will never mentally be able to do so and fear I will always come back. I cannot believe i’m saying goodbye (for now) to this chapter of my life but I cannot wait to start the next. Until next time cheer i’ll love and cherish everything you’ve taught me forever and always. This time I can finally say I QUIT!
