As loc stylists & artists🎨 it's our job to hear our clients desires and baby dig (really dig) into what they actually want. 📍Usually "i want as 80+ locs" is *actually* i want it full and not scalp-y. 📍And "I don't want a lot of maintenance but I want as much curl is possible" Is i want a lot of volume but i don't want to feel like I'm dealing with loose hair. It's our job to find the meet in the middle. 👀The mistake that a lot of aspiring and seasoned permanent loc stylists make is that they rush thru the consultation calls to get the booking without getting to the root of what they client wants AANNNNNNDDDD what's healthiest for their hair. The truth is you need to access: ✨Density, damage (if there is any) and then get to the desires. These are the beginning ingredients I use to ensure my clients get what they want & what's healthy.
