I finally DID it! My makeup artistry is officially a registered LLC, @novita.beauty, I now have a website portfolio (link in bio) AND I'm adding a new service– one-on-one makeup lessons (with glam parties coming soon)! One-on-one lessons have been requested by many for quite a while. Bookings are now open and you can either message me through DM or contact me through my...WEBSITE!! Ahhhh!!! I have a website!! 🥺😭 The name "novita" is Italian for newness. I really can't take credit for it haha. After brainstorming for weeks, this was the very last name thought of. I had almost given up and settled on one I wasn't crazy about, but God laid a word on my bf’s heart one night and and asked, "what's ‘newness’ in Italian?" We were both like... whoa. It's beautiful and quite fitting. LOVE for this passion of mine, BLOOD from the fight for my dreams, SWEAT from not giving up and pushing forward, and TEARS from fears I thought would completely annihilate me, has gone into this. This journey has become so much more than being a makeup artist. It's been about rediscovering my life and what God is calling me to. I am SO excited to see where God takes this. He's already led me into some of the most incredible opportunities and I know it's just the beginning of this journey I'm on. I hope this encourages someone who is also going after their dreams, but may be feeling discouraged. Honestly, it's normal to feel discouraged; but what's out of the norm is pushing through it. For a while I failed in the follow-through because I would give up when I hit a bump in the road. So know, it will get worse before it gets better. But that's not to say you won't experience the most incredible breakthroughs during your most difficult seasons. Trust me, I've been there. Those moments are reminders to keep going. Don't you ever stop pushing forward. Don't you ever stop trusting God with the dreams He put on your heart. He will see you through, but you have to keep choosing to fight. It's always a choice. You are not where you are for nothing. What often appears to be a dead end, is not. Look up. God's making a way with your trust, faith, and will to continue on.
