We are thrilled to announce that earlier this week, Too Young To Wed officially opened our Middle East & Africa Civil Society Organization (CSO) office at Nairobi Garage in Kilimani. The opening of this office is a testament to our incredible community whose support has been instrumental in TYTW's growth, including our generous sponsors: @allendeisabel @worldofwomen.nft @mankindismybusiness @outlawgalsmc @canonusa @sfpphotography. From the entire TYTW team in Kenya and beyond, we are honored to share in celebrating this milestone with you. TYTW has worked in Samburu County since 2014, engaging key decision-makers to better protect girls, while supporting more than 1500 historically excluded girls directly with crisis services, innovative champion-building workshops, multiyear leadership scholarships, life skills and sexual/reproductive health (SRH) education, shepherd school programming, STEM career training, and ongoing public awareness campaigns that elevate and center survivor voices. After years of working in Kenya through implementing partners, the TYTW Middle East & Africa CSO's Board of Directors, including Chairwoman @amwithigah, Vice Chair & Treasurer @kipainoi, Global Executive Director @stephsinclairpix, Founding Executive Director @chepatula of the @irepfoundation, and other notable leaders kicked off the launch to mark this new phase of programming and impact. MEA Board Secretary @elizabethgpratt, of Canon, celebrated with us from afar. Some of the amazing girls TYTW serves from Samburu and West Pokot Counties even performed and shared testimonials.
