🔴 Russian men who are called up to fight in Ukraine will be able to freeze their sperm for free, as the Kremlin moves to persuade more people to join up.⁠ ⁠ Igor Trunov, head of the Union of Lawyers of Russia, on Wednesday said the government had given its support to his proposal to “create a free cryobank of genetic material” for soldiers fighting in Ukraine.⁠ ⁠ They will also move their spouses up the list for state-sponsored IVF treatment.⁠ ⁠ Mr Trunov said the government has decided to allocate funds to cover the cost of freezing and storing “biological material of the citizens mobilised to take part in the special military operation” for the next two years.⁠ ⁠ 👉 Read more at the link in our bio.
