When you end up on PAGE 2 of your local newspaper due to being proud, confident, and body-positive in spite of all the fatphobic comments you receive.🤑📰 🎉 In June of 2022, I made a silly TikTok video wearing a hooters uniform costume that I purchased off Amazon. Little did I know that in January of 2023, it would be the subject of numerous headlines in the UK media. These headlines stated that I was a hooter's waitress, and I steal food off of people's tables. To set the record straight, I don't work at Hooters, nor do I want to. I just thought I looked hella cute in their uniform. 🥵 I am glad that the Toronto Sun interviewed me to get my side of the story. Sometimes, it's hard to go viral on TikTok, and I know you have to push people's buttons in order to do so. And honey, they were PUSHED. 🤣 To sum up my truth, I am a proud fat woman with 2 academic degrees, including a Masters and a full time model/influencer who is also self employed and debt free at the age of 27. I am proud of who I am, and I am proud of what I have built for myself.
