@skyhighfarmworkwear - live now - is an independent entity built solely to support @skyhighfarmhudsonvalley’s work. The farm has been growing fresh food exclusively for donation for almost a decade and - though I probably don't need to tell you this - the need for it has only increased over the last few years. In that time it became clear that a more lasting and communal mode of fundraising could help ensure that the farm continues to meet the river of demand. The brand structure was inspired by the farm’s: Sky High donates fresh food to those who need it, the brand donates its profits to the farm. Customers become donors. The mechanism of culture reigns supreme, and the fashion-to-food hypothesis, as unlikely as it might seem, has been borne out, so here we are: @skyhighfarmworkwear launched today. The first pieces are now available on the site - skyhighfarmworkwear.com. I work with both the farm and the clothes so critical mass has been reached and I MUST implore you to go look and follow and get some socks.
