2 of 2 for a mini series I’ve been wanting to do for over a year now. While watching fantastic fungi in August of 2021 i had an idea to do a shoot based off this little time-lapse of some mushrooms with red lamellae & stipes growing. I really love the accordion-like texture that a mushroom’s lamellae has. I’ve already shared the first more light & airy side of this series, so here’s the more dark & rough collection. a ginormous thank you to samia for practically getting blinded by this spot light & posing so perfectly 💖 I first texted her about this idea so many months ago because i thought she would be the perfect model for this part of the collection & im so glad we finally we able to do it. she nailed it!!! This is exactly what i had in mind the when i first saw that little time-lapse clip. I love the delicate & whimsical poses paired with the rougher more angular ones. This was my first project where i rented out a light & wow how incredible is legit gear rather than my diy set up lol.
