I’m keeping up with my annual World Theatre Day post tradition! Even though I wasn’t in as many shows this year for a variety of reasons, the few I were involved in were monumental to my progress as a theatre artist. Not only did I get to direct another musical, music direct a few times, and stretch out my performance chops after graduation, but I also GRADUATED?!?! (Kind of.) In all seriousness, finishing my musical theatre degree was a huge moment for me and having since gone forward into the theatre industry feeling confident about my capabilities in all of my theatrical facets, each experience has been unforgettable. Even though my focus has shifted towards music as I finish my BIS, theatre still plays a giant role in my life and I can’t wait to get back to it now that undergrad is coming to a close!
