Unity isn’t a passive hope. It’s an active choice. And it starts with a willingness to stop defending long enough to actually listen. The problem is fear. Fear whispers: Erase them before they erase you. And so we keep repeating the cycle: blocking, unfollowing, silencing, building higher walls around smaller lives. I catch myself wanting to walk away, unfollow, close the door. But then I remember, that’s the same cycle we’ve always played. Maybe the real shift is in staying. In listening. In practicing love where it doesn’t come easy. Because if we can do it here, in the small spaces, maybe we can do it on a larger scale too.
