The first time I met Rina was after her 2018 show at the Teragram Ballroom. The venue could only hold a couple hundred people, but she treated it like a stadium event, complete with multiple costume changes, choreography and backup dancers, and pop star energy in excess. It was one of my favorite shows I’ve ever seen. So it’s such an honor to have worked with her on three songs from her 2nd album, Hold the Girl (co-wrote and co-produced “Your Age,” “Send My Love to John,” and “To Be Alive”).
