Just recently, our volunteers were alerted to the needs of Riza, 6, who was suffering from extreme #malnutrition in Ghor province, #Afghanistan. Riza, seen here at home with her grandmother Zargul, 70, was taken to the hospital after meeting with our team where she was admitted for emergency treatment. Riza is one of the 95% of Afghans without enough to eat–a devastating statistic leading to skyrocketing levels of child marriage and girl-selling due to the desperation of starving families. With your help, TYTW is now able to support Riza and her family through our Parwana #FoodSecurity, Education, and Livelihood Program.
