On my shoot with @del_photos I took this lil video while we were shooting and it made me think how rarely we see bodies just moving, naturally, around. I've personally seen people dancing in undies, or perfectly posed, but not that simple, casual movement. It reminded me of one of the earliest mean comments I got about my body - from a boy, when I was 8, asking me why my thighs moved 'like that' and then rubbed his arms together to mimic how my legs touched...as if that was a bad thing? How was I supposed to move that made me 'better'? Our bodies move in one way or another, but we often only see one type of body being celebrated in movement. Honour the little movements - you're not an airbrushed person, you were never meant to be.
