my husbands 29th birthday recap 🎈 love on your spouse the way THEY desire to be loved on 🫶🏽 For weeks, I asked Corey what kind of food he wanted to eat for dinner on his birthday so I could make reservations and the one place he decided on ended up being closed yesterday but I thank God it was! 🙌🏽 One of the biggest lessons I learned while planning for Corey’s birthday yesterday was how much he appreciates the simple things. Every day in our marriage we learn how to love one another better and yesterday was no different. Often times, we celebrate and love on people the way we want to be loved and celebrated. While I wasn’t aiming to plan anything super extravagant, I stopped myself in the midst of planning the day out to ask and decipher what it was that *COREY* would want to do that would make HIM genuinely happy and feel loved for his birthday. That was simply being fed some good food for breakfast, taking a walk together, and having food from his favorite Jamaican spot and watching the game to complete the day ♥️ it was beautiful and my baby was happy!
