Amgen broke ground on this first-of-its-kind Amgen EcovationTM manufacturing facility in 2014. ASM has a significantly smaller physical footprint making it cheaper, more flexible, and greener to operate when compared to conventional plants. Sustainability is an important part of operations here. As of 2021, ASM achieved 100% carbon neutrality and reduced water usage by 30% 💚.
