It’s Clara’s 16th birthday today. My littlest sibling was born was I was already 13 years old, so I remember every stage of their growing up vividly. From the moment I saw their curly little head I thought Clara was the funniest and most gorgeous thing in the world, and it’s still absolutely true. As they got older, my photography got better, my baby sister always my first test subject for any new technique or camera I got - starting off with the MySpace angles on a compact camera in 2007, going through learning about film, getting a dslr, and then posing for me last year when I got my medium format. Clara learnt all the best bits of me and saw me at my worst while I was growing up ahead of them, and still loved me unconditionally. They are the best human I could ask to be related to.
