I was drawn to these trees outside my grandmas and went to explore them in the rain. Looking closer, I found that people had left little shrines in the crevices of their roots. Often in India, all forms of life are revered as manifestations of the divine, including trees, which explains the idols left as offerings (and maybe why I was so drawn to them)
