THE 4-WEEK INTENSIVE ARTS OF FASHION PROGRAM IN SPAIN Hosted at the Cristóbal Balenciaga Museum in Getaria, Spain, the objective of the 4-week Intensive Arts of Fashion MasterClass Program is to push students’ creative potential through education in the culture of craftsmanship and excellence. This includes sharpening their technical skill set, improving an eye for detail and aesthetics, and pushing the boundaries of design and innovation. @cristobalbalenciagamuseoa THEME SILHOUETTE, SHAPE & SCULPTURE Under the art direction of the Belgian rising fashion designer – Lucas Sponchiado, a group of awarded international Arts of Fashion designers and recent selected graduates has to develop innovative silhouettes, combining Haute Couture craftsmanship with the chosen theme, to be exhibited at the end of the session at the Cristóbal Balenciaga Museum. @lucassponchiado Previous guests of the 4-week Intensive Arts of Fashion MasterClass Program included leading creative designers such as Anthony Vaccarello (2010), Aurore Thibout (2011), Christine Phung and Lucile Puton (2012), Zoe Vermeire (2013), Raphaelle H’Limi & Kenta Matsushige (2014), Long-Nam To (2014/15), Yiyu Chen & Haesung Bong (2015), Stephanie Coudert (2016-17), Gustavo Lins (2018), Alicia Declerck (2019-21), and Brandon Wen (2021). The goal of the Arts of Fashion Foundation 4-week MasterClass Program series in Museum is to further develop and promote creativity in fashion, exchange of ideas, give fashion students access to the best possible sources of fashion education and other creative and educational projects.
