Some thoughts about freedom & permission slips:⁠ ⁠ You were never meant to be a slave, my beloved.⁠ ⁠ So if you’ve found yourself in some entrapment, whether in the literal sense or in a more abstract, figurative scenario, I can assure you that something has gone terribly wrong.⁠ ⁠ This is not all you were born for.⁠ ⁠ You do not have to trade your time and your life away, no matter what the cultural programming has told you.⁠ ⁠ You do not have to do this even if you were born into meager beginnings and you have watched your parents scrape and save and sacrifice and lack has been all you have ever known.⁠ ⁠ You do not have to stay enslaved even if you cannot imagine another possible scenario. ⁠ ⁠ Even if you don’t have the answers of how? Or why? Or am I allowed?⁠ ⁠ Your soul’s longing for more is enough of your validation, dear one.⁠ ⁠ It is proof that something else exists.⁠ ⁠ It is proof that you are capable.⁠ ⁠ It is the only permission slip you could ever need.
