To the ones who inspire me 📚 When you read 200ish books a year like I do you tend to forget a lot of books as they start to all kind of blend together. But every now and then you find a story that makes you feel like the author wrote it just for you. Like they somehow knew exactly what you needed at that precise moment in time. These authors are all phenomenal at what they do, but more than that they are exceptional humans. Listening to them talk about their characters, their inspirations, the reasons behind the choices legitimately brought me to tears several times. ( don’t worry many of them also made me laugh so hard I may have snorted once or twice) It was an absolute privilege and joy to get to know them. Many of them encouraged me to keep going on my writing journey, and when one of your idols gives you advice you take it ;) Thank you for making me feel important and valued. For having a drink with me. For chatting with me. For taking the time to get to know me. For telling me how much you are a fan of ME( I am still about to pass out from that one) and for being real and vulnerable.
