Few months ago I was reflecting on my journey, how much I’ve changed since moving out. London made me feel overwhelmed, excited, scared, hopeful, grateful, a wide range of emotions it’s hard to put into words, although all the creative people knows very well. All these feelings made me look back at my past, my hometown, my relatives, my memories. This is the first picture I took without really knowing what was supposed to become. Listening to the sounds of shells with my grandma is still a vivid memory I have, I really thought I could hear the sea. This naivety, excitement and genuine perspective slowly change when you grow up. With this series I tried to express how I felt and how I feel using artefacts of sentimental value, searching for - as @mayaavram better articulated - my temps perdu.
