being a mom has completely flipped my world upside down in the best way possible. I feel like something in me that was dormant before has woken up & I love it. I try harder, I love deeper, & I feel more. Sometimes this can create mood swings & confusion...but the light & clarity I feel after the emotional storm is so beautiful. 🤍 Sometimes, I’m shocked at how being a mother to Kase has felt so natural! I feel like I was truly designed for this. but that doesn’t mean motherhood (as a whole) hasn’t been a challenge. It’s not easy but i don’t think it’s supposed to be. Luckily, I don’t think hard equals bad. Quite the opposite. Challenge & hard work are so rewarding!! & foster deeper feelings of gratitude, reward, joy, & perspective. 🤍🤍🤍 Also Kase update: he just turned 7 months old & he is the happiest, smiliest, cuddliest, cutest boy. 🥹 but so far hates avocados & raspberries & loves bananas lol
