Review 1 of 3 —————————————————————————— Honey Balm Jelly Moisturiser The first thing that grabs you about Honey Balm is the iridescent sheen the actual moisturiser itself has, which comes by way of crushed mica pearls. Despite its name and the fact that honey makes an appearance on the ingredient list and inspired the texture of the product, the key scent in Honey Balm is lavender which is polarising and I, unfortunately, reside nearer the ‘dislike’ end of the scented spectrum. While Honey Balm also has uber-hydrating niacinamide and turmeric as part of its line-up, the second ingredient on the ingredient list is dimethicone, which is a silicone derivative. While for many that won’t be a problem, it’s important to note that for anybody conscious of clean beauty, the high amount of artificial silicone in Honey Balm is worth swerving. As a primer, to enhance the dewiness of your skin, the Honey Balm is a delicious option – it really does give a gorgeous glow - but for a sturdy and hard-working moisturiser I’d look elsewhere. —————————————————————————— Discover more must haves.
