Been a fan of @daviddtss since @tsscrew, and as each chapter of his life evolves and he shares it with us, I become even more amazed at his ability to tell a story/share his viewpoints and overall impact our culture. Read this book with my eight-year-old, and although it took longer than expected, this is hands down my favorite book chronicling the Freedom Ride, and I’ve read pretty much all of them. We read about the CRM leaders and forget how their choice to fight for our rights often meant they couldn’t choose to be there for their families. I could go on and on, but both P and I enjoyed it, and it sparked many discussions. I just hope some college professors get their hands on this and add it to the required reading...
