Given the gossip and accusations, I’ve decided to release my Garmin data. I’ll never silence the haters as that is part of chasing any and all big dreams. And, I realize that people will still scrutinize and question my Garmin data in an effort to discredit me as well as fantasize that someone else wore my watch or any number of ridiculous speculations. This race was for me and no one else. I’ll know as well as my crew that I completed every single inch of that course. I’d never cheat myself out of this experience that I’ve dreamed about for many years. That being said.. here it is.. it’s broken into two sections. My battery was about to die so I had my crew plug it into the support vehicle while I continued running for 1.5-ish miles. Both files add up to show 133.64 miles. The only missing mile and a half was while the battery was getting a boost (I realize the doubters will probably focus on this). And for those that want to know, I have never intentionally taken any banned substances nor will I. As a pro triathlete, I’m tested frequently with my last test being done in March 2022 which came back clean. I have nothing to hide. Again, doubters are always going to speculate and I’m sure they’ll continue to fantasize scenarios to discredit me. I can hold my head high knowing I’ve addressed this criticism head on and knowing what I accomplished. In all my years of racing, I’ve never been more determined, more focused, and never have I hurt more than I did in this race. *continued in comments
