Anytime I can do a fridge clean out & make it seem like a planned, cohesive dish I consider it a win. That’s exactly what happened with this lasagna. Béchamel is a classic French white sauce that’s traditionally used to help bind ingredients together & create that creamy silky texture most dishes need. It really took this dish to a 10 and I know I won’t be making any future lasagnas without it. Let me know if you guys try this! 🤍 Ingredients: Ground Beef: * 2 celery stalks, diced * 1 onion, diced * 3 cloves garlic, minced * 1 lb ground beef * Olive oil * 4 oz tomato paste * 1 cup tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes * Bay leaf * thyme * Haitian epis (green seasoning paste) * Seasonings: salt, pepper, adobo, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, beef bouillon Béchamel: * 4 tbsp butter * 4 tbsp flour * 3.5 cups milk * Salt & pepper — to taste * One pinch nutmeg Additional ingredients: * Freshly grated mozzarella * One box of lasagna or fresh rolled lasagna sheets #fallrecipes #lasagna #fyp #pastarecipes #sundaydinner
