It’s my first LA premiere. Today, after being TOTALLY ghosted by TWO stylists after I told them my sizes...true story...I met my saviour @jayceequeen at @nordstrom in Century City. I was hooked up with him by David Washinsky who is managing my hair and make up for the event after I mentioned to him in an email that it seemed I would be flying on my own in terms of styling...which, sadly was neither a surprise nor an unexpected sadness...just the way it seems to be for plus size humans. David reached out to the head of styling for NORDSTROM US, who set me up with Jaycee. Jaycee, with less than two days time, left no stone unturned to clothe, accessorize and shoe me. He lapped around that store like a long distance runner...until he found what I needed. I am really excited about my outfit, which NORDSTROM will expedite tailoring on over the weekend....because they have a tailor on site!! Thank you to Jessica Cloutier who is the SR. Director of Styling and Sales at Nordstrom, to David Washinsky for going the extra mile for a big gal in need, and finally to a magician of a stylist and a gem of a human, Jaycee Queen...and yes, that is his real name, and he wears it perfectly.
