✨30✨ I am grateful to God for the life that I live, for my partner and our children, for all my loved ones, and for the woman who birthed and raised me. This was my first time celebrating without hearing my mom singing happy birthday to me but I felt her presence stronger than ever. This year dreams that I have been working on for forever came true and my mom always believed without a doubt that they would, she was my guide and confidant on the journey. Yesterday I could hear her saying, like she often did “I knew you could do it.” Followed up with, “now what do you want to do next?” An invitation to celebrate what I had accomplished, to continue to dream bigger, while always reminding me that relaxing and celebrating could also be my answer. With all of this wisdom in my mind, I brought in my 30s with a trip to Valle de Guadalupe in Mexico, one of the prettiest places I’ve seen, with the best friends and family a girl could wish for. I knew this was going to be a hard birthday for me so I am deeply grateful to those who joined me for the adventure, played beach volleyball with me, laughed with me, cried with me, held me, and continued to remind me that on this journey through the mountains and the valleys, I am not alone. I also went to Disneyland for the very first time on @michaeldtubbs insistence that I spend a day being a kid again and I absolutely loved it! So here’s to dreaming, working hard, celebrating, relaxing, spending time with your loved ones, asking yourself “what do you want to do next?” and here’s to my Mama ❤️ PS - I have a lot of ideas and projects I’m working on that I can’t wait to share with you in this next decade of life 💕
