Rescued from severe neglect, he was basically living on his own in a small apartment, never taken outside, sometimes left for days without any human contact or basic provisions. ✨ Despite his horrible past, he is such a good boy and steals the hearts of all who meet him. He is as happy and grateful as any dog could be, super affectionate, house trained, not destructive and takes treats with a very gentle mouth. He knows sit and lay down on command and is a gentleman in the car. ✨ His fosters had nothing but amazing things to say about him until he started resource guarding with their senior Pittie and he ended up back in the shelter system. He likes other dogs but should be an only as he likes to have all the attention and can be jealous. ✨ Due to his past, once he is in a safe and loving environment he wants to protect it and his people, so it’s understandable that he needs training in this area. ✨ Bruce loves to play and go for walks but is also chill when he needs to be.
