Huda Kattan (HK): At the moment, I’m super into having a snatched eye look, which I typically try to achieve with make-up so we’ve been working on creating a WISHFUL product that would create an amazing base to create this look. So this is really the perfect moment to be launching Eye Lift as it coincides with the make-up trend that I’m loving at the moment. —————————————————————————— HBA: Why Bakuchiol as an active ingredient instead of, say, retinol? HK: A lot of brands use retinol in their formulations, and it’s been scientifically proven to work repeatedly, but it does come with a couple of drawbacks. Which is why we decided to use Bakuchiol, especially since the skin around the eye is so delicate. Like Retinol, Bakuchiol has both anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, but it is a naturally occurring ingredient that makes it good for all skin types.
