This spicy cold tofu recipe takes five minutes to make! (Okay so maybe 10 or 15 if you’re slow at chopping😅) It requires no cooking and less than 10 ingredients. With students heading back to school, this was a real game changer for dorm room cooking. Armed with a mini rice cooker and a mini fridge, Sarah started making this dish a lot in her dorm room, because it doesn’t require any cooking! She’d keep tofu in the fridge, steal some scallions and garlic from the dining center, and keep a few pantry staples on hand like hot sauce and soy sauce. It required a little ingenuity back in the day, but that was without even having access to a dorm kitchen! She just made it at her desk. Suffice it to say this recipe has really been there for us through busy weeknight dinners growing up to college to now!
