Hidden amongst the hills of Piemonte is a quiet, ancient, and wildly undiscovered wine lover’s destination: Nizza Monferrato. Once known only for its’ simple farm lands, this town and its’ residents over the last 10 years have put themselves on the map with their newly certified domination of wine: Nizza. As my other half’s family has been here for many generations, it was a pleasure not only to discover this region’s vineyards, but as in all of Italy: Saturday night is pizza night 🍕 ...or more specifically the pizza of our nephew Gabriele who was more concerned with branding his initials in the pizza and eating all the tomato sauce before the pizza even made it to the oven 😅 I look forward to spending more time in Nizza Monferrato in the future and enjoying all that its’ slow food culture and beautiful hills have to offer ☺️ Have you visited Piemonte?
