T R I B E C A It’s really hard to put New York City into words. As a production company, we argue almost on a daily basis whether we want to live and work full-time in Los Angeles or New York. Somedays LA wins and other nights New York wins. There is just something about this city. Sometimes we’ll show up to locations with horrible design and terrible lighting, and we always say to each other “I wish someone would build this with filmmakers and other creatives in mind.” That is what New York City did. It's almost like when they built this city hundreds of years ago, they were thinking about us, the creatives. Every corner is a story with a backdrop to die for. It sounds spectacular, but shooting here is actually not easy. Permitting, scouting, moving gear, and pulling grip trucks throughout the city; and I’m not sure if you are aware but New York City is not cheap either! So it's hard, but if you can endure it, what you get from it is unlike any other city in the world. So to the love of our lives (or one of them, can’t make LA that jealous) New York City, we love you.
