Summer of 1997, I was flying to Europe for 411VM to film the annual skateboard contests. On the plane I was seated in the front row of coach and through the curtain I noticed that @woodyharrelson was seated directly in front of me at the back of first class. Around that time there were rumors in the skate world that Woody had been hanging around Pier 7 in SF and was a big fan of weed and skateboarding. I ended up passing a short note up to Woody, explaining that I was headed to Europe to video some skateboarding contests, and I asked if I could shoot a quick video of him once we landed. He read the note, looked back through the curtain and said "Sure man, but I don't know what to say". I explained that I just wanted him to do a station ID for 411VM and he smiled and agreed. I was nervous getting my camera out on the jetway but Woody was really calm & nice. 25 years later and it looks like Woody is still a fan of weed & skateboarding. I was catching up on @curbyourenthusiasm the other day and I noticed Woody wearing a @satoriwheels hat! Good stuff, I've been a fan since Cheers...
