1:05:10 AT COPENHAGUE HALF 💀 Honestly another disappointing race result for me. My training is going amazing, best workouts of my life! I am healthy, I am fit, I am happy. My work is going great, I love being a coach and seeing all my athletes work so hard, I am so excited about all the camps we do in Boulder and Africa, and I am passionate about sharing all my training and workouts on social media. So why are my last races not good? I feel like my body and brain are disconnected when it is time to race and suffer. I can do it in training, but when it is time to get that record I flunk. I could be doing too much? Not resting enough? Training too hard? Working too many hours? Stretching myself too thin? Maybe. I’ll start working with a sports psych to see if we can find the source of the problem, but for now I’ll keep having the time of my life training, coaching, and doing my camps. Always hoping my best races are ahead of me 🙏 Thank you all for the support, for believing in what we do and for being part of this journey. Even if I never race “fast” again, I am enjoying the process so much that I would keep doing it. For now I want to continue giving it my best and loving this sport ❤️
