Some advice I’d give you as a wellness-loving barista <3: 🫂Be kind! We love a judgment-free café culture where everyone feels welcome to enjoy coffee, no matter how much knowledge they bring in. 🍃 Choose organic when you can. Especially for decaf, look for options labeled organic or “chemical-free process” (like Swiss Water or Mountain Water) to avoid harsh processing. We love @Jim’s Organic Coffee !
🍭Skip the refined sugar. Especially in your first cup of the day; you don’t want that blood-sugar roller coaster. Try maple syrup, honey, monk fruit, or coconut sugar instead.
🍄 Add some function. Functional lattes are a delicious way to get extra nutrients with your beans. Adaptogen blends like the Chagaccino can even help take the edge off caffeine jitters.
💪Lead with protein. To keep energy steady, eat a high-protein breakfast before your first coffee or add protein directly to your coffee with something like the Collagen Crush. 💤Listen to your body. Everyone’s caffeine tolerance is different. I like to cut off caffeine after 2 PM so I can wind down and get great sleep (rest is #1!)
