Last week I had the honor of harvesting the plants we’ve been growing as part of the XROOTS experiment, which uses hydroponics and aeroponics to grow crops without soil. On Earth I don’t have much of a green thumb, but luckily we have a team of experts on the ground guiding us through the process. XROOTS is just one of the many ways we use the @iss as a testbed for future exploration!
