Evolution of a foyer. A lot can change in a year, and sometimes design decisions don’t end up working out. Don’t be afraid to change it!
.
I absolutely loved the previous wallpaper that I put up over the winter. But it didn’t fit the space quite right and every time I tried to make a design decision, I got tripped up by the wallpaper. Once the stairs were painted black, the whole vibe was off, but I was too afraid of messing it up and wasting the paper to change it.
.
Originally, I order this fab @printfresh wallpaper for the bathroom, but when it arrived looking even better in person, I knew it had to go in the foyer.
.
So, I finally decided to trust my design instincts and take the plunge. Using a putty knife and a lot of patience, I slowly peeled all the wallpaper off and then put it back up in the powder room. It wasn’t a difficult process, but since I was reusing the paper, I had to be very careful not to tear it.
.
Now I love it!! And I’m so glad I went for the change. Swipe to see all the foyer in different stages, the last picture was taken the day we moved in.
