when life gets too hard to stand, kneel & pray. i struggle with severe anxiety and depression. when i was 16, i thought about taking my life every single day for over a year and i’d be lying if i said i don’t think about it today. every morning, i would wake up and say “ok God, today’s the day that we end it all.” i begged my creator to take away one of the most precious things he had given me, but he didn’t. while one of my best friends was leaving for his mission, i heard someone tell him “when life gets too hard to stand, kneel and pray.” and that’s when it clicked. God didn’t take my life away because he knew i had a greater purpose in life that couldn’t go to waste. i’m fortunate to be in a position where i can use projects like these to help people in my community. 10% of the proceeds of each hoodie will be going to @hopeforkiri, a 3 year old boy with cerebral ald who is in need of a bone marrow transplant and has been persistently looking for donors to save his life! five months in the making, and i’m happy to say that the hoodies will be going live on @vinylbybetsie’s website on november 7th! a huge thank you to everyone who helped with this project!!!!!
