Is it worth it? The other day my friend said, “let’s climb Mt Agung”... I immediately said yes because I had never seen pictures or heard of anyone who had done it and I was massively intrigued. After a full day we left home at 9:30pm by scooter to reach the starting point of the hike at midnight. We hiked 1600 vertical meters in the dark to the summit of Bali’s biggest volcano. Watching the sun come peaking out over the ocean from 3100m above will forever be worth it.
