. ▶五月特別主題 - 領導臺灣的先鋒設計師◀ 近年來臺灣時尚產業人才輩出、大放異彩,而成功的背後,是前輩設計師們的耕耘,造就了更多的舞台與機會。五月特別主題將介紹多位在臺灣時尚產業具有開創性及代表性的先鋒設計師,並致上最高的敬意! @charinyeh 葉珈伶1951年出生於彰化,從小身處務農之家,對大自然的深度愛好及強烈的在地情感,使葉珈伶從中擴實了她腦海中關於「美」的藝術資料庫。葉珈伶在學生時期就開始學習各式裁縫實作技術,進入服裝訂製店,並在24歲時前往臺北,接觸更寬廣的設計工作,讓功力深刻紮根。
 1985 年葉珈伶創立自有服裝品牌CHARINYEH ,在當時的流行地標「來來百貨」舉辦了首場設計發表會,1987年再應時尚教母徐莉玲之邀,加入深具設計文化意念的「中興百貨」設計家名店陣容。至今CHARINYEH站穩成為臺灣設計師品牌的領導角色之一,運用簡潔俐落的藝術輪廓,與深刻都會立體結構,演繹出帶有堅毅態度的趨中性時尚。 2020年CHARINYEH與新生代攝影師PUZZLEMAN於臺北大稻埕街頭拍攝2020AW「東薈芳」系列型錄並推廣至歐洲,同年前進巴黎Who’s Next一月份商展,品牌開始走向國際。隔年SS22臺北時裝週,於獅子林大樓發表「科學幻想」,首次透過電腦虛擬動畫結合真人時裝秀,展現全新突破。 
 秉持著「大自然是最好的老師」 的理念,葉珈伶擁有深厚的在地文化基底,加上無國界的設計結構思考,成就了CHARINYEH品牌兼具風格與實穿的一件件時尚藝術作品。經過30年的品牌養成,葉珈伶對多元觀點的玩心依然不減,將豐饒的臺灣在地元素,細膩地編織進衣著中。從舞獅到柑仔店,從灶腳到耕蚵,從海上貿易到愛國獎券,持續抽絲臺灣意象。 In recent years, talents in Taiwan's fashion industry have emerged in large numbers and shined brightly on the stage of the world.
