Dear God, Thank You for carrying us through the first five days of this fast. I ask that you provide the same strength to those just getting started today. Thank You for the strength we didn’t know we had and the discipline You’re building within us. As we continue, help us stay focused on You and not on what we’re giving up. Renew our energy, sharpen our spiritual awareness, and guard our hearts against distraction or discouragement. Let this fast continue to draw us closer to You and align us with Your will.
