Thank you, Reimagining the Civic Commons, for shining a light on our constellation of cultural sites and amenities. This photo essay touches upon the breadth of our creative pursuits over 2022 at Rebuild, from our summer programming at Kenwood Gardens to our groundbreaking ceremony for the St. Laurence Arts Incubator; from our culinary arts residence program at Retreat at Currency Exchange to Music Moves Chicago's stewardship of the dance and wellness programs at DA+HC and our celebration of life for Tamir Rice, anchored by our care for the Tamir Rice Memorial Gazebo. Like Reimagining the Civic Commons, we believe that preservation and transformation of public spaces is critical for community vibrancy, longevity, resiliency and connection.
