follow for travel inspo 😍 USA’S MOST SCENIC ROAD DETAILS ⬇️😍 📍 The Going To The Sun Road in Glacier National Park, Montana stretches over 50 miles through some of the most spectacular scenery in all of North America. 🌲 During the stunning, bucket list worthy drive visitors are treated to breathtaking views of snow capped mountain peaks, glaciers, emerald-blue alpine lakes, subalpine meadows, ancient forests, and even wildlife, if you’re lucky. 🛣️ To drive this road you will either need to book an online reservation at recreation.gov OR arrive before or after reservation required hours: 6am-3pm. The road is usually open late May-early September. Check nps.gov for road openings & closures. 🏔️ This epic stretch of road takes you through Glacier National Park. We enjoyed driving on it early to watch the sun come up over the mountains. This also helps avoid the highest trafficked times! 🚙 To drive straight through, from the West Entrance to the East entrance, without stopping takes about 2 hours to drive the full 50 miles.
