I make art and I ride bikes. This is my art bike, I call it Neon Patina. I spent many hours painting and sanding, and then painting and sanding again, then cleaning and painting/sanding some more. I never knew exactly how it would turn out, I had an idea, but like every other of my wild hair brained projects, I just tried it and hoped for the best. There’s some magic in just taking a leap and hoping for the best, always a bit of bravery and a heap of fear too. There’s more to the story of that I’ll be explaining in the next few weeks before the @nwtuneup festival here in Bellingham mid July, so stay “Tuned Up” for more posts that tell the story of how this bike came to be.
